Privacy

Minimal by default.

No third-party analytics, no ad networks, no tracking pixels, and no fonts loaded from someone else’s CDN.

What we collect

• Standard server logs: request path, status, latency, and a truncated or hashed IP for abuse prevention.
• Submitted links and optional notes, plus a hashed email if you provide one.
• No reader accounts. Anonymous readers get one first-party preference cookie, wf_read, that stores only article IDs you have read, opened, or acknowledged on this device. It contains no account, email, or tracking ID and is not shared with third parties. Clear it in your browser at any time.

Retention

• Request logs: 14 days.
• Fetch runs: 30 days.
• Rejected candidates: 7 days.
• Published items: retained until removal.

Third parties

New candidates are screened by TypeSafe’s Jev API using public metadata only: title, URL, source, date, and a short excerpt. No reader data, submitter email, IP address, or full article is sent.
